Joshua joined the firm’s Complex Litigation Division in 2020. His practice consists of complex civil litigation and commercial disputes, including formation of legal entities for profit and not for profit, intellectual property, professional malpractice for accountants, architects, engineers, lawyers, realtors, and surveyors, breaches of fiduciary duty, contractual disputes, fraud, employment, and labor law.
Originally from Buena Vista, Virginia, Joshua received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Joshua earned his Juris Doctorate and Master of Business Administration from the University of Alabama. While attending Alabama, Joshua interned for the United States Attorney’s Office in Roanoke, Virginia and was a summer intern for Federal Magistrate Judge James G. Welsh in Harrisonburg, Virginia.
Before joining McIntyre Thanasides, Joshua worked at the largest defense firm in Florida at its Tampa office, defending national and international insurance companies and their insureds in cases involving professional and legal malpractice, consumer law, employment, intellectual property, and high stakes commercial litigation.
