Ashley M. Bruner

Born and raised in Florida, Attorney Ashley Bruner graduated from the University of South Florida in 2012 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminology. In 2015, she pursued her Juris Doctor degree from WMU Thomas M. Cooley Law Schooland graduated cum laude in 2018.

While at WMU Thomas M. Cooley Law School, Ms. Bruner was very active. She held numerous leadership titles including:Governor and Public Relations Chair with the Florida Bar Young Lawyers Division Law Student Division; Florida Association of Women Lawyers, where sheserved as the Secretary; Phi Delta Phi Legal Honor Society, where she served on the Rules Committee Chair; and she served as a Grade Appeals Magistrate. In addition to her extensive leadership roles, Ms. Bruner graduatedin the top 25% of her class, made Deans List and Honor Roll 2015-2017 consecutively, and was electedby her classmatesas the Valedictory speaker at hergraduation ceremony.

Prior to law school, Ms. Bruner worked at a Plaintiff’s firmfor fiveyears handling Personal Injury and Auto Accident cases. Ms. Bruner’s experience includes working on, and resolving, numerous personal injury cases on behalf of her clients, as well as working as a Criminal Defense Attorney representing individuals chargedwith Misdemeanor and Felony offenses with a focus on DUI defense. In 2019, Ms. Bruner joined McIntyre Thanasides as a Trial Attorney where she advocates for the wrongfully injured and handles an array of cases, includingPersonal Injury, Wrongful Death, and Civil Litigation.

Ms. Bruner is licensed to practice in all Florida State Courts. She is also a member of the Hillsborough County Bar Association’s Young Lawyer Division, The Florida Bar Young Lawyers Division, the Florida Justice Association, and Tampa Bay Trial Lawyers’Association.

In her spare time, Ms. Bruner enjoys spending time with her family and friends, as well as her two dogs, Betty Boop and Brewski.

WORK EXPERIENCE:

Prior to law school, worked at a Plaintiff’s firm for five years handling Personal Injury and Auto Accident cases. My experience includes working on, and resolving, numerous personal injury cases on behalf of my clients, as well as working as a Criminal Defense Attorney representing individuals charged with Misdemeanor and Felony offenses with a focus on DUI defense.
